Questions we are asked

Questions

The things people ask us most, with the answer in full rather than behind a click. Anything else, write to test@wolfgang.sh and we will answer in writing.

Where do you deliver, and what does it cost?

We deliver by hand across our own area, and what delivery costs is shown before you pay. If we cannot reach an address ourselves we say so before the order is confirmed.

What is the cut-off?

Order by 11am and it goes out today. After that you choose a later day. Around the peaks the cut-off moves earlier, so order in good time for the day that matters.

Will it look exactly like the photograph?

Close, and never worse. Every arrangement lists what is in it, stem by stem. Flowers change week to week: if a stem is not good enough on the day we swap it for something of the same value that suits the arrangement.

How do I keep them fresh?

Trim the stems at an angle, stand them in fresh cold water, and keep them out of direct sun, away from radiators and not beside a fruit bowl. Change the water every second day and trim again while you are there.

What if nobody is in?

We follow the delivery notes you leave: a safe place, a neighbour, the porch. Without one, we leave a card saying where the flowers are or when we will try again.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Yes, up until we start making it: write to us as soon as you can with your order number. Once it is made up it cannot be cancelled or returned. If anything arrives damaged, write to us within 24 hours with a photograph and we will replace it or refund it; the terms have the detail.

How do standing deliveries work?

Choose an arrangement, pick weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks and a preferred day, and we make and deliver a fresh one on that rhythm, charging you per delivery. A gift of three, six or twelve deliveries is paid for once. You can skip, change or stop from your account at any time before the amendment window closes.
